Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and detail-oriented Sr Manager Compensation to design, implement, and manage the organization's compensation programs to attract, retain, and reward top talent. The Sr Manager Compensation will ensure our pay practices are competitive, equitable, and compliant with applicable laws while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

 

Compensation Strategy and Program Design:

  • Implement compensation philosophy, build job architecture, and job levels.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies, including salary structures, incentive plans, and job grading systems, to meet organizational goals.
  • Conduct market analyses to benchmark compensation practices and ensure competitiveness in the industry.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align compensation programs with business objectives.

Job Evaluation and Analysis:

  • Oversee job evaluations, ensuring consistent and accurate job descriptions, classifications, and leveling across the organization.
  • Provide guidance on salary offers, promotions, and adjustments to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, EEO, and pay equity laws).
  • Stay updated on legal trends and best practices to maintain compliance and manage risks.

Compensation Reviews and Reporting:

  • Lead the annual salary review process, including merit increases, bonuses, and incentive plans.
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation metrics, trends, and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and department leaders to support workforce planning and budgeting.
  • Advise HR and managers on compensation-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to resolve pay issues.

Travel Requirements: Up to 20%

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in compensation management, analysis, or related field.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, HRIS systems, and compensation software).

  • Proficiency in measuring the effectiveness of communication strategies and presenting data-driven recommendations.
