Position Summary and Responsibilities:

The purpose of the Team Lead Inventory Control position is to assist the Inventory Control Supervisor.

  • Supervise and coordinate the reclamation room team’s daily activities.
  • Monitor and track reclamation processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Verify that reclaimed inventory meets quality standards and acceptable date requirements.
  • Communicate with other departments and management teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Provide feedback and implement corrective actions for the reclamation team.
  • Assist in training and development of reclamation team members to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of reclamation activities and inventory adjustments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and reclamation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control.
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of reclamation and inventory reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
  • Able to read product lists and packages
  • Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle product weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to repetitively lift
  • Ability to learn to operate heavy warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs
  • Must be able to work in different warehouse temperature zones.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery)
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment that includes frozen and cooler temperatures
