DALLAS, July 3, 2025 – In collaboration with Anheuser-Busch, Ben E. Keith Beverages is honored to announce its continued commitment to the Folds of Honor Foundation with a $30,000 donation. Folds of Honor, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of servicemen and women, as well as first responders, who have been affected by loss or disability. With an impressive track record of impact, Folds of Honor has granted over 62,000 scholarships since its establishment in 2007, exceeding $290 million in educational support.
To mark the occasion, Ben E. Keith hosted 20 veterans and their guests in a suite at a Texas Rangers game, where the check presentation took place. It was an evening of recognition and camaraderie, filled with moments of gratitude and reflection. On hand to present the donation was Abilene General Manager Michael Hernandez. “As a Marine veteran, it means a great deal to me personally to work for a company that values service and honors the sacrifices of our military families,” said Hernandez. “Presenting this donation to Folds of Honor and a scholarship recipient during the Rangers game was a proud moment, not just as a veteran, but as a representative of Ben E. Keith Beverages.” The game provided an opportunity not only to celebrate the donation but also to create a meaningful experience for the veterans and their families. The event served as a small token of appreciation for their service and a reminder that their sacrifices are seen and valued.
Donations like these allow Ben E. Keith and Anheuser-Busch to actively contribute to empowering military and first responder families and their loved ones' educational aspirations and honoring the sacrifices of servicemen and women. “We are honored to support Folds of Honor year after year through scholarship donations,” said Jason Bush, Vice President of Marketing. “We have a longstanding tradition of service, and it’s a privilege to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country. Supporting the families of our nation’s heroes is a small gesture of gratitude for the immense contributions they’ve made.”
Mary Scott, Regional Impact Officer at Folds of Honor, expressed appreciation for the donations received, stating, "We are so grateful to our friends at Ben E. Keith and Anheuser-Busch for their generous and longstanding partnership. This meaningful support directly impacts the number of educational scholarships we’re able to award each year to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled service members and first responders. Simply put, we couldn’t do this without partners like Ben E. Keith and Anheuser-Busch. Their continued commitment is helping us honor sacrifice and educate legacies in a truly powerful way.”
