Ben E. Keith Foods Announces Promotions

Fort Worth, TX, January 25, 2011—Ben E. Keith Foods has announced the recent promotion of three senior staff members in their General Office in Fort Worth, Texas.
Andy McCaskill has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Purchasing effective February 1, 2011. Mr. McCaskill began his career with Ben E. Keith in 1982 in the Dallas Division and subsequently moved to General Office, assuming responsibility for the Grocery Department. In April 2000, he was named Vice President of Grocery and Non-Foods and in 2009, advanced to Vice President of Purchasing for the Food Division. “This elevation of responsibilities reflects the significant impact of the purchasing function on the long-term growth and profitability of our business and Andy’s exceptional knowledge, performance, and professionalism in these areas. Further, this expanded role for Andy is an additional and reasonable step in the continuous efforts to refine our business model and organizational structure,” said Mike Roach, President of Ben E. Keith Foods.
Also announced effective January 1, 2011, were the promotions of Elliott Stephenson, Vice President of Human Resources for the Food Division, and John Johnson, Vice President of Business Services.

Dr. Stephenson joined Ben E. Keith in 2004, as Director of Organizational Development and was named Senior Director of Human Resources in 2007.
Mr. Johnson began his career with Ben E. Keith in 1982, as Office Manager for the Fort Worth Branch. In 1993, he transferred to Corporate Office as Accounting Manager. He returned to General Office in 1994, as Administrative Manager.
Established in Fort Worth, Texas in 1906, Ben E. Keith is the nation’s eighth largest broadline foodservice distributor and operates today with seven divisions shipping to eleven states through the southwest.
