    Sheila Thornburg, Department Manager
    Sheila joined Ben E Keith Company in 1989. She became the Manager for the Healthcare Department in 1995 after supporting the growth and development of our National Account Sales Department as a National Account Manager. Today, as Health & Nutrition Services Manager, Sheila drives solutions for healthcare as well as college & university dining services, private school & camp programs, military & government opportunities, and correctional programs. She is also actively involved with Ben E. Keith’s small & minority business development and HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) program relationships, and serves as one of our Ambassadors to the Women’s Foodservice Forum.






    Janet Hendrix-Duncan, Corporate Dietitian
    Janet joined Ben E. Keith Company in 1989 as a Healthcare Specialist at General Office, with twenty years prior healthcare experience as a Registered Dietitian. Janet holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Management. When Ben E. Keith decided to implement a menu management program, MenuManage®, Janet was asked to spearhead its development. Janet’s primary areas of responsibility are the MenuManage® program, customer support, and educational services along with and healthcare sales development.






    Kay Strand, Business Development Dietitian
    Kay joined Ben E. Keith Foods in the Healthcare Department in 2003, with 32 years healthcare management and teaching experience. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and provides assistance to healthcare customers with menu planning, therapeutic diets, recipes, software and sourcing products. Kay provides support to division sales teams through training and developing sales opportunities.







    Janice Barnard, Marketing Manager
    Janice joined Ben E. Keith Company in 2005 as Administrative Support for the General Office Marketing department. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from Tarleton State University. In 2010, Janice was named the Marketing Manager for the Health and Nutrition Services. Janice’s primary duties are marketing development and resource support for the companywide Health and Nutrition Services. Janice also serves on the Ben E. Keith’s Employee Wellness Committee (KEWL Committee).






    Linda Bush, Sales and Contract Analyst
    Linda joined Ben E. Keith Company in 2003 in the Healthcare Department. She began her foodservice career in 1977 and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dietetics and Food Administration from California State University, Long Beach. During her tenure she has also served in National Accounts and the Purchasing Department. She was named the Sales and Contract Analyst for Health & Nutrition Services in 2010. Linda’s primary responsibilities are contract management, reporting, analyzing sales data, and preparing government and other non-commerical account bid proposals.








    Judith Powe, Diet Technician
    Judith joined Ben E. Keith Company in 2003, in the General Office as a Diet Technician. She is a certified Dietary Manager, with 35 years in the healthcare foodservice industry and in healthcare management. Judith has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. Judith’s duties are menu development and systems support in healthcare and non-commercial accounts.






    Linda Hart, Diet Technician
    Linda joined Ben E. Keith in 2003 with three years experience in foodservice menu development. Linda’s primary duties are menu coordination and MenuManage® software technical support and dataloads. Linda also serves on the Ben E. Keith’s Employee Wellness Committee (KEWL Committee).
