"Pioneering is Eternal"
In 2006, the Ben E. Keith Company commissioned a bronze statue to be placed in front of the Arkansas Division which would depict the essence and spirit of its people. Texas sculptor, Jack Bryant wanted to capture that culture which exemplifies the hard work and attitude of the Arkansas Division. What followed was the legendary pioneer “The Arkansas Traveler” whose image is peering across the horizon at the abundant good fortunes lying ahead in “The Land of Opportunity”.
The bronze was titled “Pioneering is Eternal”, which was the personal motto of the company founder, Benjamin Ellington Keith. Today, Mr. Keith’s spirit, and the company’s enviable record of success, is an enduring testament to the basic principles of business, “perseverance and integrity are essential”.
