Ventura Foods, LLC named Ben E. Keith's Supplier of the Year

Ventura Foods, LLC, leading manufacturer of oils and salad dressings, was named Ben E. Keith’s 2007 Supplier of the Year at the food distributor’s 24th Annual Supplier Appreciation Dinner held at the Ridglea Country Club. Rick Mazer, President and CEO, accepted the award from Ben E. Keith Foods President Mike Roach.
Ben E. Keith, the nation’s ninth largest broadline foodservice distributor, chose nine winners in six categories from among its top suppliers. Eligible suppliers were qualified by a scorecard of their past year’s performance and winners were chosen by divisional and corporate management.
Georgia-Pacific, supplier of paper products, was chosen in the Non-Foods category. The Produce category winner was J. C. Combs Produce, while McCain’s USA and Campbell Soup took the Frozen Food category honors. Tyson Foods and National Steak and Poultry were the Center of the Plate winners. Ventura Foods, LLC and McCormick & Co. won in the Grocery category. The Equipment & Supply winner was Carlisle Corporation.
