Ventura Foods, LLC named Ben E. Keith's Supplier fo the Year

(Fort Worth) Ventura Foods, LLC, leading manufacturer of oils and salad dressings, was named Ben E. Keith Foods 2008 Supplier of the Year at their 25th Annual Supplier Appreciation Dinner held at the Ridglea Country Club. Thomas McCarley, Executive Vice President of Ventura Foods, accepted the award from Ben E. Keith Foods President Mike Roach.
Ben E. Keith, the nation’s ninth largest broadline foodservice distributor, chose nine winners in six categories from among its top suppliers. Eligible suppliers were qualified by a scorecard of their past year’s performance and winners were chosen by divisional and corporate management.
Georgia-Pacific, supplier of paper products, was chosen in the Non-Foods category. The Produce category winner was Combs Produce, while McCain’s USA and Rotella’s Italian Bakery took the Frozen Food category honors. Tyson Foods and Holten Meats were the Center of the Plate winners. Ventura Foods, LLC and McCormick & Co. won in the Grocery category. The Equipment & Supply winner was Carlisle Corporation.
