Anchor Brewing Brekle's Brown
Brewmaster Mark Carpenter’s unique recipe for Brekle’s Brown – a tip of the hat to our first brewmaster – looks to both the past and the future. Mark’s special blend of roasted malts, inspired by the all-malt brown ales in Anchor’s brewing archives, gives Brekle’s Brown its coppery brown color and its unusual depth of flavor – richness and complexity without heaviness. For brewing and dry hopping, Mark has chosen a single, American hop variety called Citra. The subtly entrancing flavors and aromas of this distinctive new hop perfectly complement the unique maltiness of Brekle’s Brown.

Franconia Brewing Company
DALLAS, December 1, 2011 – Franconia Brewering Company has appointed Ben E. Keith Beverage Distributors distribution rights for the state of Texas. The McKinney, Texas brewery will continue to self distribute in its home town. Franconia Brewery was established in McKinney, Texas in March of 2008 fulfilling the life-long dream of owner and head brewer, Dennis Wehrmann.

New Belgium Lips of Faith Fresh Hop
A truckload of fresh hops on a midnight run from Washington State to Northern Colorado made it to our kettles just in time. Fresh Hop IPA is a citrus punch of the green stuff: Amarillo, Centennial and Cascade hops straight off the vine. This brazen and deliciously bitter IPA pours deeply golden with the slight haze of a really hoppy beer. The fresh hops poke you right in the nose and the liquid hits your tongue with a sharp blast, finishing light and dry. This is the hop harvest, in a glass, just for you.
Harpoon 100 BBL - Spruce Tip
This hearty ale is a showcase for a traditional yet seldom used brewing ingredient: spruce tips. Harvested at their tender, ripe, bright green peak in Downer State Forest, Vermont, these spruce tips impart citrus, pine, spice, herbal and earthy notes. A host of malts, a hint of roasted barley and generous use of Chinook hops complement the unique spruce flavor.Available mid-November

Victory Otto Ale
Bill Covaleski and Ron Barchet, Victory co-founders, developed the recipe for the new smoked malt dubbel based on their experience with the style during a trip they took to Bamberg, Germany in 1987. In order to create a deliciously palatable smoked beer, Bill and Ron decided to combine the sometimes-overpowering qualities of the smoky rauch style with Belgian caramel malt, which yields a perfectly harmonized final flavor.
New Belgium Snow Day
Snow Day will replace 2 Below as winter seasonal. It will be available from November-January. Per New Belgium?s Bryan Simpson, “We’re looking at giving seasonals a two year run. It’s such a good opportunity to develop and place new beers that we want to keep the program dynamic.”
