Ben E. Keith Beverages is the third largest beer distributor in the nation, second largest Anheuser Busch distributor, and proud to be the ONLY beer distribution company to service the entire state of Texas.

We offer several top selling premium brands including Budweiser, Bud Light, and Michelob Ultra. Each carries a rich history of quality and provides retailers with an excellent opportunity for sales and profits.

In 2008, Ben E. Keith Company began expanding our beer portfolio to carry numerous craft and import brands. We distribute a wide variety of craft brands including Real Ale, Brooklyn, Dogfish Head, and Stone to name a few; and imported beers from around the world including Chimay, Spaten and Unibroue.

We also carry several ciders including Ace, Blackthorn, and Woodchuck and malt beverages such as Bacardi Silver, Johnny Bootlegger, and Seagram’s Escapes. Ciders and Malt Beverages are two of the fastest growing alcoholic beverage categories and our portfolio contains a wide variety of these products.

In a continuing effort to educate our employees in this ever-changing industry, we have begun a comprehensive training program called the Cicerone™ Certification Program. It covers everything from product storage and serving, to beer and ale styles. The three levels of certification progress in knowledge and difficulty and are known as the Cicerone Server Certification, Certified Cicerone and Master Cicerone. Cicerone offers independent assessment and certification in all aspects of beer knowledge to industry professionals as well as interested consumers. It designates those with proven expertise in selecting, acquiring and serving today’s wide range of beers. Cicerone is to beer what a “sommelier” is to wine. The Cicerone Certification program is recognized in the industry as the leading beer knowledge certification program.

Ben E. Keith also carries a line of wines from Chateau Diana, and Non-Alcoholic beverages including Sweet Leaf Teas and Icelandic Glacial Water.

Ben E. Keith is proud to be a founding member of Great Brewers. The mission of Great Brewers is to bridge the gap between the world’s great brewers and the consumers who enjoy their products, with a paramount focus on education and on enhancing beer distribution practices through the sharing of information.

Great Brewers brings a variety of interactive tools for everyone to use! The Beer Sommelier lets you pick from an assortment of food ingredients and pair it with your favorite beer styles from the recommended list. Great Brewers also has many educational items including a Great Beer Test, encompassing the history of beer, brewing processes, beer styles and several other topics. You can also gain access to Great Brewers on your mobile device with the BeerCloud application; rate all your favorite beers, create beer lists, and upload your tasting notes directly to the Great Brewers website.
