Kona Brewing Company
Kona Brewing Company introduced Pacific Golden Ale (now called Big Wave Golden Ale) and Fire Rock Pale Ale to Hawaii in bottles and kegs on February 14, 1995. Longboard Island Lager was added 3 years later. Approximately 10 other styles of beer are brewed on a regular basis and served at Kona Brewing Company?s pubs with a select few being served at some finer restaurants. These range in color from very blonde to black; in flavor from tangy to hoppy to roasty… and everything in between. Today the three flagship beers are widely distributed throughout Hawaii, making Kona the top selling craft beer in the islands. Longboard Island Lager, Fire Rock Pale Ale and the Limited Release beers are distributed in select markets throughout the United States and in Japan.
Expect to be transported to a place where mother nature reigns and flip-flops rule!

Fire Rock Pale Ale
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.Best With: Fire Rock Pale Ale pairs exceptionally well with a broad variety of foods. Its hop character and full body stand up against heartier dishes and barbecue, but it doesn’t overtake lighter fare like chicken or salads.

Kona Wailua Wheat
Swimming in a fresh water pool at the base of a cascading waterfall is what we all imagine we would find in paradise. On Maui, follow the old Hana Highway and you will find such a place ? Wailua Falls. This plunging cascade of clear water is the inspiration for our Limited Release Wailua Wheat Ale. This golden, sun colored ale has a bright, citrusy flavor that comes from the tropical passion fruit we brew into each batch. Sit back, relax and enjoy paradise anytime.
Best With: This is a beer to enjoy after a day on the water or at the beach (or even after mowing the lawn or playing softball in your “pau hana” summer league!). It typically pairs well with lighter fare like grilled fish and shrimp, roasted chicken, salads and Asian foods. Perhaps even a dish of vanilla ice cream.
