Boon Rawd Brewery, the first brewery in Thailand, was set in 1933 by Boonrawd Srethaputra, who was later bestowed the aristocratic title of Phya Bhirorn Bhakdi by His Majesty King Prajadhipok (Rama VII). Singha Beer became the first beer to be brewed by a Thai, and is now considered a nation’s heritage as well as a family’s pride.
